Object Description: Pack of German cigarettes. Box is off-white, oriented horizontally, and has a red band at the top and bottom of the front face. Red text is printed on the center front over paragraphs of brown text. There is also a line of brown text in bold at the top and bottom of the front face. The back of the box is red with black text.

These R6 cigarettes produced by Reemtsma Cigarette Manufacturers, were recovered from the U-505. Smoking was not permitted within the U-505. Sailors were only allowed to smoke cigarettes from the deck while the boat was surfaced.
