About: German U-Boat Frontspange Clasp

About: German U-Boat Frontspange Clasp

U-boat front clasps like this one were awarded to submariners who had already earned their U-boat badges later in the war for continued service and valor (in the case of the U-505, combat attacks). Like U-boat badges, they came in bronze, silver, and gold rankings.
