About: Miniature Scepter, Fairy Castle

This miniature scepter from the Great Hall of the Fairy Castle is decorated with five diamonds around the top, four diamonds along the shaft, and a large blue stone. The scepter was made by the jewelry firm Brock and Company in Los Angeles.

The Great Hall with floating staircase is a grand room with many treasures. The floor is composed of ivory carved with rose vines which carry up onto the great pillars supporting the ceiling. The ceiling includes domes painted by Helga Brabon of characters from fairytales of both the Grimm brothers and Hans Christian Anderson. The Great Hall includes many hanging wall paintings as well as many rare treasures gathered from around the world.
