This Imperial Mark XII Flash camera was produced in the mid to late 1950s. It is a basic camera made of plastic and available in a variety of colors. It used 620 film and produced 6 x 6 images. Its features included an eye-level viewfinder, a single shutter speed, a fixed focus, and a wrist strap. An optional flash unit was also available. This camera was produced in Chicago by the Herbert George Company, founded c. 1945 by Herbert Weil and George Israel. The company was renamed Imperial Camera Corporation after a change of ownership in 1961.
