About: MATRIX PowerWatch Wristwatch
About: MATRIX PowerWatch Wristwatch
Powering wearable technology is a challenge. Matrix Industries addressed that challenge by creating a smartwatch that never needs charging. It is powered by the wearer’s body heat. Its thermoelectric generator uses heat flowing from the wearer’s wrist through the watch to its outer surface to generate electricity, providing a steady stream of power. A meter on the watch displays how much electricity is being generated. The watch’s other features included step tracking and basic notifications.
