Object Description: Schwinn bicycle disassembled and mounted in a display case. Components on display inclue the bicycle frame, silver fenders, wheels with tires, pedals, chain ring, bottom bracket cups and bearings, handlebars, and banana seat. Frame, seat, handlebar grips, and chain guard are painted a red metallic color.

The Stingray was one of Schwinn’s most successful bicycles. Introduced in the 1960s, the design was based on muscle cars and chopper-style motorcycles. In 1998, Schwinn re-introduced one of its most popular Stingrays, the Apple Krate.
