About: No. 2 Box Camera
About: No. 2 Box Camera
The Ansco No. 2 Box Camera, introduced by the Ansco Company in the early 1900s, was an affordable and simple camera designed for amateur photographers. Featuring a boxy design with a fixed-focus lens and two shutter speeds, it used standard 120 roll film. The camera's simplicity and low cost made it popular among casual photographers. Although it was eventually overshadowed by more advanced models, the Ansco No. 2 played a key role in the early development of consumer photography.
