Object Description: Rectangular silver pewter tray with a raised scene of five (5) log cabins, one (1) stone building and courtyard with flagpole and bell on pole. There is a intersecting circle and cross pattern engraved as a boarder around the rim. Text engraved at top and bottom of scene, inscription is stamped on the back.

Etched onto this tray is an image of the Fort Dearborn replica from the 1933 Century of Progress. The original fort was built in 1803 on the south bank of the Chicago River near Michigan Avenue and was the westernmost outpost for the U.S. during the early 19th century.
