About: Denny's The Jetsons Crayon Fun Book

About: Denny's The Jetsons Crayon Fun Book

The cover of this Crayon Fun book depicts George Jetson at work with his atomic supercomputer Rudi. George Jetson is a character from the 1960s animated television show The Jetsons which offered a glimpse into the future. Set in the year 2062, the show followed the Jetson family, including George, Jane, Judy, Elroy, Astro the dog, and Rosie the robot maid, living in Orbit City. The show was filled with futuristic technology, such as flying cars, robotic vacuums, flat screen televisions, computer tablets, smart watches, robot maids, and smart homes. At the time of its original airing between September 1962 and March 1963, much of the technology depicted in the show did not exist but would eventually be invented in the 21st century.

This 1992 Crayon Fun Game book was distributed by the restaurant chain Denny’s and features a family member from the show along with puzzles, games, and other activities for children to enjoy. Each book also includes a Mad Lib game on the back cover where children can write in words to describe George’s perfect day off.
