About: Model of F27 Monoplane

About: Model of F27 Monoplane

This is a miniature model of a F27 Monoplane, also known as the Fokker F27 Friendship, a twin-engine, turboprop passenger aircraft that was first introduced in the late 1950s. It was designed by the Dutch aircraft manufacturer Fokker, offering a reliable way to travel between smaller airports. It quickly became popular with airlines because of its durability and ability to operate on shorter runways, and was used by commercial airlines, cargo carriers, and the military for decades. There were over 800 of these planes built before they were eventually replaced by more modern aircraft.
